Scrap The Boys November Challenge - Us Together

Thursday 22 November 2018

Hola Lovelies!

Oh my goodness, I recently purchased the Heidi Swapp Emerson Lane collection from Sassy Scrappers and it is GORGEOUS!

The colour palette is to die for!

My first page using the collection was for the Scrap the Boys November challenge.

The challenge was all about scrapping yourself and the boy in your life.

So of course I scrapped a selfie of me and my honeybee, my son Elijah.

Here is what I came up with:

The ephemera and flower stencil, which I cut up, is so perfect for layering.

And of course the challenge:

I really appreciate you taking the time to visit my wee blog.

Lots of love!

More Than Words - November Challenge - Magical Day

Wednesday 7 November 2018

Well hey there lovely!

A couple of weeks ago I discovered the More Than Words challenge blog and i was SHOOK. The talent is crazy good and 100% inspiring!

So of course I couldn't pass up the November Challenge.
When i saw the word inspiration was FUTURE and the creative challenge was STARS I immediately knew I had to scrap a pic from my sons 10th birthday!

Seeing him blow out the candles on his cake and make a wish always gets me smiling about what his future holds and how it shines so bright!

CSI Case File #265 - Come As You Are

Sunday 4 November 2018

Hola!

Today I've got my DT layout for CSI to share with you.

I absolutely loved the contrast between the pinks, white & black on this challenge! I have documented something about our home as well as using stripes, flowers, text print, label, something transparent, black & white photos, something shiny and rub-ons from the evidence list.

The pic I've scrapped is of a letter board in our house, Its so important to me that our house is an inclusive, loving and welcoming space!

Once again I've used a watercolour background and lots of layers.

I'm also digging butterflies lately too!

You can interpret the case file non any way that inspires you.

I hope you'll give the challenge a go, its so much fun!

Thanks so much for stopping by.
