Anyhow, with August comes new challenges and that deserves a big YAY!

This months challenge at Anna's Craft Cupboard is a sketch, I LOVE me a sketch challenge, so DUH, of course I had to give it a go!

CSI Case File No. 258

Well hey there!

I've got another CSI case file to share with you.

This one was a challenge as I wouldn't typically use this colour combo, its fab getting out of ones comfort zone though ammiright?

As well as using the colour palette I have also used stripes, watercolour pattern glasses and wet medium. I also used the topic by documenting a trip to the beach.

Scrap the Girls - July Challenge - Be Kind to Yourself

Hola, Howdy, Hey, Hi!

Sooooooo when I first saw this months Scrap the Girls challenge I was a bit unsure about it, but actually ended up really enjoying it!

Here is the challenge inspiration: 

I was inspired by the running makeup on the ballerina, the vintage skeleton diagram, the flowers & the colour palette of pink & black.

I also was inspired by the challenge name "Dark Inside". I scrapped a layout called "Be Kind to Yourself (You Are Enough). 

We all have that negative voice inside ourselves and I wanted to scrap a layout to remind myself to be kind to me!

Kraft + Plus July Challenge - "Pure Mischief"

Hey there!

I'm so excited to get stuck into all of the fabulous July challenges out there.

I absolutely had to try this months Kraft Plus challenge as I knew it would be tricky and its always good to get out of your comfort zone a bit, right?

Anyhoo here is the challenge, you must incorporate weaving in your layout!

I decided to weave strips of kraft cardstock that I'd sewn (you know, because texture!) together.

It's wobbly and wonky, but thats how I roll baby!
